Job summary

UCSF Health | GoHealth Urgent Care in California seeks experienced Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners with urgent care or emergency room experience to treat both adult and pediatric patients. The role supports minor procedures, EKG/X-ray reads, and diagnoses with collaborative care in EPIC EMR.

Flexible scheduling (full-time, part-time or PRN) with opportunities at busy Bay Area centers and a strong clinical leadership team; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of fulltime experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting as a NP or PA.
• Experience treating both pediatric and adult patient populations.
• Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints), and reads on EKGs/X-rays.
• Bilingual: English and Spanish strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Treat both pediatric and adult patient populations (all ages, 6 months and up).
• Perform minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints) and provide preliminary reads of EKGs and X-rays.
• Make diagnoses and prescribe treatments/medications.
• Collaborate with on-site Rad Techs and Medical Assistants for support.
• Work in state-of-the-art centers with EPIC EMR and potential Scribe support.
