Prisma Health Urgent Care is hiring Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners for on-site roles in Myrtle Beach, SC. We offer FT 30/36 hours or PT 24 hours per week with a 3-day/12-hour schedule (8am-8pm) and no overnights.

Candidates must hold an active SC license (FNP-C/ FNP-BC or PA-C), have an advanced NP/PA degree, DEA registration, and BLS. Urgent care or ED experience is preferred; you will join a team-focused environment with opportunities for growth.

Formación

• Current and valid license to practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C or FNP-BC) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) in accordance with the state of South Carolina.
• Advanced degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program of study.
• Current DEA registration.
• Experience with procedures including suturing and drainage of abscesses.
• Experience with reading diagnostic studies including x-rays and EKGs.
• BLS certification (we will provide this if needed).
• Meets eligibility requirements for credentialing set forth by WellStreet Urgent Care.
• Experience in Urgent Care, Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, families and other employees.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, evaluate, and implement high-quality medical care with appropriate resource management to adults and children in cooperation with center physicians.
• Adhere to Prisma Health Urgent Care service standards delivering high patient satisfaction.
• Provide patient care within center policies and procedures.
• Serve as a resource for patient/family and staff.
• Authenticate and document services rendered and maintain accurate records.
• Complete necessary documentation to facilitate patient care and reimbursement.
• Participate in meetings to support urgent care operations.
• Engage in professional development and maintain required certifications (BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, or NALS).
• Report to Regional VP of Clinical Operations or Area Clinical Operations Director.
