Corewell Health Urgent Care seeks compassionate Advanced Practice Providers (NP/PA) to float to Warren and St. Clair Shores locations, delivering high-quality urgent care.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care, collaboration with physicians, and adherence to care standards. Applicants must have NP/PA licensure in Michigan, a valid DEA, and a DOT certificate, with experience in suturing, reading X-rays, and EKGs.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible and licensed in Michigan
• Advanced degree from an accredited NP/PA program
• Current DEA registration
• DOT certification
• Experience with suturing and abscess drainage
• Experience reading diagnostic studies including x-rays and EKGs
• BLS certification (provided if needed)
• Eligible for credentialing at WellStreet Urgent Care
• Urgent Care/FMS/EM experience preferred
• Strong communication with patients, families and staff

Responsibilities

• Plan, evaluate, and implement high‑quality medical care with appropriate resource management
• Deliver patient care in collaboration with center physicians
• Adhere to service standards and policies to ensure patient satisfaction
• Provide and/or serve as a resource for patient/family and staff
• Complete documentation and communicate for appropriate reimbursement
• Participate in meetings and activities to support urgent care operations
• Maintain certifications (BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, or NALS) as required by the area
• Report to Regional Medical Director and Area Clinical Operations Director
