Job summary

Cedars-Sinai Medical Care Foundation is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Urgent Care team. You will provide high-quality, evidence-based care to patients presenting with a wide range of acute illnesses and minor injuries in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

This role requires strong clinical judgment, efficiency, and excellent communication skills to care for patients of all ages and backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Current California NP or PA license required.
• Furnishing Number and DEA registration required.
• National certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based care to patients with acute illnesses and minor injuries in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.
• Evaluate, diagnose and treat patients independently while collaborating with board-certified physicians and other members of the healthcare team to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with patients of all ages and backgrounds to support safe and effective care.
