Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency seeks an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for an urgent care role in Pittston, PA. You will diagnose and treat common illnesses, perform routine exams and immunizations, and work with a physician on collaborative care.

The position offers autonomy with limited admin tasks, a strong work-life balance, and opportunities within a supportive healthcare organization in Pennsylvania.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in PA studies or approved NP program required.
• Current NCCPA certification or eligibility and Pennsylvania licensure.
• At least six months of advanced practice experience in primary, emergency, urgent care or critical care.
• Ability to treat patients from age one and older.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and treating common medical conditions such as sore throats, earaches, sinus infections, flu and UTIs.
• Providing routine health exams, immunizations, screenings and wellness services.
• Work autonomously with limited administrative tasks while collaborating with a physician.
• Access a broad network of healthcare resources and specialists.
• Participate in call duties approximately six nights per year.
