Geisinger ConvenientCare urgent care in Pittston, Pennsylvania is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our urgent care team. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating common illnesses, performing exams, immunizations and wellness services.

The schedule features rotating shifts, limited on-call, and no overnights. The role requires completion of an ARC-PA approved PA program, NCCPA certification or eligible, and PA licensure in PA.

Qualifications

• Must complete an ARC-PA approved PA program and hold NCCPA certification or be eligible.
• Nurse Practitioner candidates must have a PA license to practice in PA and NP certification eligibility.
• Experience with urgent care or primary care settings is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose and treat common medical problems in urgent care.
• Provide routine exams, immunizations, screenings and wellness services.
• Work autonomously with limited administrative burden and participate in a team network.
