Job summary

UNC Health Urgent Care Holly Springs is hiring a Full-time Nurse Practitioner to treat episodic illnesses and minor injuries, provide occupational health services, and work in a fast-paced, team-based setting. On-site X-ray and point-of-care testing support clinical decisions.

Applicants should have an accredited NP program completion, NC licensure (or ability to obtain), and strong communication skills to collaborate with RNs, CMAs, and physicians. Location: Holly Springs, NC.

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Work experience in acute care, primary care, urgent care, or emergency room setting preferred.
• Must provide care to patients 4 months of age and older.
• NC Licensure or ability to obtain.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to establish rapport with patients & collaborators effectively with team members.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Required procedures: Suturing, splinting.
• DOT Certification.
• Knowledge of OSHA recordables preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Treat episodic illnesses and minor injuries as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Provide occupational health services and exams.
• Participate in clinics with on-site X‑Ray and point-of-care testing.
• Staff walk-in clinics with a reservation and wait time system.
