Job summary

Live Urgent Care in Kentucky seeks a full-time Urgent Care Provider with urgent care experience to diagnose and treat a broad range of conditions in a fast-paced clinic.

Role includes performing urgent care procedures, interpreting X-rays and EKGs, completing DOT physicals, and collaborating with a skilled team. Requires NP/PA licensure, Master’s degree, and BC certification (AANP/ANCC).

Qualifications

• Must have at least one year of urgent care experience.
• Must have a minimum of two years of experience (not for new graduates).
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Current DOT certification.
• BC certification by AANP or ANCC.
• CPR certification must be current or obtainable before start date.
• MD/NP/PA licensure requirements per state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a wide range of urgent care presentations in a fast-paced setting.
• Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing, splinting, incision and drainage, wound care.
• Interpret initial digital X-rays and EKGs.
• Complete DOT physicals and occupational health visits.
• Collaborate with medical assistants and other providers to deliver efficient, patient-centered care.
• Maintain documentation and adhere to clinical guidelines and protocols.
• Support clinic operations and contribute to a positive team environment.
