Strong EMR documentation and patient education are essential in this fast-paced role. The position requires an NP with at least 1 year in urgent care or emergency settings, pediatric and adult experience, and national NP certification.

Qualifications

• 1 year of full-time experience as a licensed NP/PA in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting.
• Experience treating both pediatric and adult patient populations.
• Proficient in preliminary reads of EKGs and X-rays.
• Master’s degree in Nursing and national NP certification (AANP or ANCC).

Responsabilités

• Conduct physical exams and review patient histories.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging.
• Diagnose conditions and prescribe appropriate treatments or medications.
• Perform minor procedures such as suturing, splinting, and casting.
• Document encounters and treatment plans in the EMR.
• Educate patients on care and prevention; administer vaccines and refer to specialists as needed.
