Palo Pinto County Hospital District is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for our Possum Kingdom Clinic in Mineral Wells, TX. The role focuses on comprehensive clinical assessments, diagnosing and managing acute/chronic conditions, and delivering timely, evidence-based care in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

The ideal candidate holds a TX NP license with a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing, current life support certifications, and at least 1 year of urgent care or family medicine experience.

Qualifications

• Active TX NP license and Master’s/ Doctoral degree in Nursing.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required.
• Minimum 1 year clinical experience in urgent care or family medicine.
• DEA, DOP, NPDB credentials current.
• Driver's license and vehicle liability insurance are required.

Responsabilités

• Conduct clinical assessments and physical examinations for patients.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with emphasis on safety.
• Educate patients on health maintenance and preventive care.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and staff to coordinate care.
• Document encounters and maintain medical records per regulatory standards.
• Respond to emergencies within scope of practice.
• Review patient care monthly with clinic physician per NP protocols.
