Job summary

Huntsville Hospital Urgent Care in Cullman, AL seeks experienced Medical Receptionists to greet patients, activate files and support staff. The role is full-time with a rotating 36-40 hour week, including some weekend work.

Responsibilities include patient check-in/check-out, phone inquiries, data entry, insurance data collection and maintaining a clean, safe reception area. Prior medical office experience is preferred, with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of basic computer software and EMR systems.
• Prior experience in a medical office is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet all patients and visitors and guide them through registration.
• Answer multi-line phones, file, fax, scan documents and handle patient callbacks.
• Check in and discharge patients, assist clinical staff and close the office at shift end.
