Job summary

Washington Regional Urgent Care is seeking experienced Medical Assistants or Limited License X-Ray Techs to join our Mountain Home, AR team. The Medical Assistant provides clinical and administrative support to ensure exceptional patient care, including vitals, patient prep, and records management.

We offer full-time rotating 36–40 hour weeks, with a mix of weekday shifts and every-other weekend. Prn options are available. Competitive benefits and opportunities for advancement are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS Certification required.
• Certified Medical Assistant is preferred.
• Willingness to get AR Limited X-Ray License is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and directs them through the exam and lab/x-ray areas.
• Communicates wait times and guides patients to the next steps.
• Provides solutions and seeks help in emergent situations.
• Executes follow-up calls with a sense of urgency.
• Assists front desk with patient check-in/out when necessary.
• Obtain and document patient vital signs, weight, history, medications, allergies and other pertinent information.
• Assists with patient transfers and procedures under provider supervision.
• Ensures documentation procedures and visit records are completed.
