Job summary

Washington Regional Urgent Care in Mountain Home, AR is seeking experienced Medical Assistants or Limited License X-Ray Techs to join our team. The role provides clinical and administrative support, including taking vitals, assisting providers, and maintaining accurate records.

Full-time team members work a 36-40 hour per week rotating schedule with every-other weekend. PRN opportunities are available. Requirements include BLS; CMA is preferred and AR Limited X-Ray License is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS Certification.
• Certified Medical Assistant is preferred.
• Willingness to get AR Limited X-Ray License is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients promptly in waiting area, exam room, or x-ray room.
• Communicate wait times and guide patients through the treatment process.
• Provide solutions to patient problems and seek help in emergencies.
• Perform follow-up calls with a sense of urgency.
• Assist front desk with patient check-in/out when needed.
• Obtain and document vital signs, weight, history, medications, and allergies.
• Assist with patient transfers and procedures under provider supervision.
• Follow documentation procedures for each patient visit.
