Advocate Health’s AMG Franklin Loomis Urgent Care in Franklin, WI is hiring a Medical Assistant/Licensed Practical Nurse for part-time shifts. The Urgent Care is open weekdays with weekend rotations; the team supports providers and patients in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

The role includes vital signs, patient prep, medication administration, lab tasks, and documentation in the EHR. Compensation starts at $21.85–$32.80 per hour with weekend rotation and holiday shifts.

Qualifications

• MA: Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification must be obtained within 45 days unless not required.
• LPN: State licensure as Licensed Practical Nurse.
• BLS certification required within 45 days unless not required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
• Document care in the electronic health record.
• Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.
