Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Medical Assistant for its Franklin, WI family medicine department. This full-time position involves rooming, vitals, med reconciliation, patient history, screenings, and assisting providers with procedures.

You will perform lab duties, POCT, and administer medications and vaccines as needed. The role requires a high school diploma or MA program completion (or 2 years MA experience) and BLS/certification eligibility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or 2 years verifiable MA experience in the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to MA scope of practice and follow policies.
• Perform rooming tasks: vitals, med reconciliation, history, screenings.
• Assist provider with procedures and lab duties, including venipuncture and POCT.
• Administer medications and vaccines per rights of administration.
• Coordinate referrals, scheduling, and patient messaging.
