Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of a Medical Assisting program preferred.
• Medical Assistant experience required; x-ray experience preferred; BLS and radiography licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Perform limited X-ray procedures under NC regulations.
• Position patients, ensure radiation safety and shielding.
• Take X-ray images and communicate results to providers.
• Register patients and collect insurance information; verify eligibility.
• Schedule appointments, answer phones, and respond to inquiries.
• Prepare patients, record vital signs, and assist with point-of-care tests.
