Job summary

Novant Health-GoHealth Urgent Care, LLC is seeking a Medical Assistant (Limited X‑Ray) to support clinical and administrative operations in a fast‑paced urgent care setting. The MA will assist with limited diagnostic x‑ray services, patient flow, and front‑desk tasks, while coordinating with providers and radiology staff.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, Medical Assisting training (preferred), and MA experience. If applicable, NC radiography certification is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• Graduate of a Medical Assisting program (preferred).
• Medical Assistant experience required.
• Experience performing x‑rays preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform limited x‑ray procedures as permitted under NC regulations.
• Register patients and verify insurance information.
• Prepare patients for examination and record vital signs.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR and complete admin tasks.
