Job summary

Centers Urgent Care in New York is seeking a Medical Assistant to support providers across a busy urgent care setting. The role includes assisting with patients of all ages and backgrounds, and participation in Occupational Medicine and Workers’ Compensation workflows.

The ideal candidate holds a BLS certification and CMA credentials; two years of experience are preferred. The clinic operates seven days a week and offers opportunities for both full-time and part-time schedules.

Qualifications

• BLS certification is required.
• Certified Medical Assistant is preferred.
• Two years of experience preferred.
• Experience in urgent or emergency care is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting providers with patients of all ages and backgrounds courteously and efficiently.
• Services include Occupational Medicine and Worker’s Compensation.
• Assist with patient charts accurately and comprehensively.
• Work with other staff with your medical expertise and experience.
• Operate as a team alongside providers, x-ray techs, other medical assistants and practice management staff.
