Job summary

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant required.
• 1-2 years in clinical/urgent care preferred.
• CMA-AAMA or RMA certification required; BCLS required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms and room patients, take vital signs and histories in EMR.
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures and ensure patient comfort.
• Administer medications and injections as directed.
• Maintain clean, stocked rooms and perform basic aseptic tasks.
• Travel between Urgent Care locations to meet staffing needs.
