Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience as Medical Assistant in a healthcare setting.
• 1-2 years of experience in a clinical, urgent care setting, or ambulatory care setting preferred.
• CMA-AAMA or RMA certification is required; BCLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms and room patients, take vital signs, and document in EMR.
• Assist providers during exams and procedures; ensure patient comfort and understanding.
• Administer medications and non-intravenous injections per protocol.
• Travel between Urgent Care clinics to support staffing needs.
• Maintain infection control, HIPAA, OSHA and CLIA compliance.
