Job summary

Vancouver Clinic in Battle Ground, WA is hiring a Full-time Medical Assistant-Certified for the Urgent Care team. Location: 2005 W. Main Street, Battle Ground, WA. Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8:00am–5:00pm.

Must have WA M.A.-Crtfd or ability to obtain within 6 months; BLS required. Pay range: $21.81–$30.53 per hour. A $2,500 hire bonus is available. Join a team providing patient care with rooming, vitals, EMR data entry, injections, immunizations, EKGs, and phlebotomy.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Certification from national certifying entity (AAMA, NCCT, AMT, NHA, etc.).
• Current Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified credential or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Current healthcare provider BLS.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and take manual vitals and operate an automated BP machine.
• Collect data and report in the EMR, work the MA in-basket managing prescription requests.
• Perform clinical skills such as ear lavage, EKG, sterile set-up, injections, immunizations, point-of-care testing, swabbing, phlebotomy.
• Receive and make phone calls to other departments, patients and peers, and use critical thinking to follow protocols.
• Work independently and as a team member.
• Ability to wear a mask all day and an N95 when protocol directs.

**$2,500 Hire Bonus Available**

Hiring rate generally between $22.25-$27.50 per hour, and placement in the range depends on an evaluation of experience

Location: Battle Ground (2005 W. Main Street - Battle Ground, WA)

Schedule : Monday through Friday, 8:00a-5:00p

Must have: Active Washington State Department of Health, Medical Assistant-Certified credential or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.

In this role you will:

• Room patients and take manual vitals and operate an automated BP machine
• Collect data and report in the EMR, work the MA in-basket managing prescription requests
• Perform clinical skills such as ear lavage, EKG, sterile set-up, injections, immunizations, point-of care testing, swabbing, phlebotomy

Requirements:
