Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required or completion of a Medical Assisting program
• Phlebotomy and EKG experience preferred
• MA experience and/or front desk experience preferred
• Basic life support (BLS) certification required at hire
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient registration and check-in, including insurance verification
• Record vital signs and prepare patients for examination
• Collect specimens and prepare labs as needed
• Prepare examination rooms and stock supplies
• Coordinate referrals and scheduling with providers
• Answer phones and handle front desk tasks and patient inquiries
