Job summary

HealthCARE Express in Texarkana is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for a Part-Time/PRN role in our urgent care team. You will perform vital signs, assist with examinations, and provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced setting.

You’ll work with providers, handle EKGs, venipuncture, injections, IV starts, wound care, TB skin tests, and accurate documentation while maintaining HIPAA compliance and compassionate patient interactions.

Qualifications

• Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) with valid license
• Experience with EMR systems is a plus
• Excellent communication and teamwork are essential

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs and prep patients for examinations in a fast-paced urgent care setting
• Perform EKGs, venipuncture, specimen collection and routine lab testing
• Administer medications and injections, start IVs, assist with wound care and minor procedures
