Job summary

HealthCARE Express in Texarkana is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for a Part-Time/PRN role in our urgent care team. You will perform vital signs, assist with examinations, and provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced setting.

You’ll work with providers, handle EKGs, venipuncture, injections, IV starts, wound care, TB skin tests, and accurate documentation while maintaining HIPAA compliance and compassionate patient interactions.

Qualifications

• Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) with valid license
• Experience with EMR systems is a plus
• Excellent communication and teamwork are essential

What You'll Do

As an LVN, you'll work alongside providers to deliver high-quality care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced urgent care environment. You'll obtain vital signs, prepare patients for examinations and treatments, perform EKGs, venipuncture, specimen collection, and routine lab testing, administer medications and injections within your scope of practice, start IVs, assist with wound care and minor procedures, administer TB skin tests, maintain accurate documentation, and support providers throughout the day. You'll also help create an exceptional patient experience while working closely with your teammates to keep the clinic running smoothly.

• Pay: $26/hour
