Job summary

ConvenientMD LLC in Maine is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our clinical team. You will provide high-quality patient care, support physicians, and contribute to a collaborative, patient-centered environment in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

Requirements include a State LPN license, IV placement experience (ME/NH), BLS certification, and strong communication skills. Eligible to travel between ConvenientMD locations within 1 hour.

Qualifications

• State-licensed practical nurse (LPN) with IV placement/monitoring experience.
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC); no CPR/ACLS online.
• Strong communication and compassionate, patient-focused approach.
• Willing to travel to other ConvenientMD locations within 1 hour.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient triage, take vitals, document medical history.
• Assist with exams and prep equipment, support providers during testing.
• Perform diagnostic tests: vision, hearing, drug screens, spirometry.
• Conduct point-of-care tests: strep, flu, RSV, SARS-CoV-2, glucose, lipids, UA.
• Administer meds, immunizations, wound care; manage ECGs and oxygen.
• Document results, educate patients on therapy plans.
• Maintain EMR accuracy and report patient changes.
• Sterilize and maintain instruments; ensure clinic operations.
• Collaborate with clinical team and train new staff.
