Job summary

ConvenientMD is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our urgent care team in providing high-quality patient care across a fast-paced clinic. The role involves triage, exams support, and assisting providers during testing and procedures, with emphasis on accurate documentation and patient communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• State licensed practical nurse (LPN) with IV placement experience; ME/NH IV certification preferred.
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC); CPR alone not accepted.
• Strong communication, compassion, and patient-centered care.
• Willingness to travel to other ConvenientMD locations within 1 hour, and work 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient triage, vital signs, and documentation; assist with exams and testing.
• Perform diagnostic tests and point-of-care testing (strep, flu, RSV, SARS-CoV-2, glucose, lipid panel, urinalysis).
• Manage cardio-pulmonary care (ECG, AED, nebulizers, oxygen).
• Deliver immunizations and medication administration per regulations.
• Maintain EMR records and monitor patient changes; support clinic operations.
