Job summary

ConvenientMD is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our urgent care team. You will provide high-quality patient care, support providers during exams and testing, and help maintain a fast-paced, collaborative clinic environment.

The role requires a state LPN license with IV placement experience, BLS certification, and proficiency with EMR systems such as Experity. You’ll perform triage, administer medications, immunizations, and wound care, while upholding HIPAA and safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• State licensed practical nurse with IV placement/monitoring experience; IV certification in ME/NH is required.
• BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross required; no CPR/ACLS online.
• Strong patient-focused, compassionate and team oriented.

Responsibilities

• Perform triage by taking vital signs and documenting medical history.
• Assist exams, testing, and procedures with providers.
• Perform diagnostic tests and point-of-care testing (strep, flu, RSV, SARS-CoV-2, glucose, lipid, urinalysis).
• Provide wound care, immunizations, and medication administration per regulations.
• Maintain electronic medical records and report changes.
