Job summary

Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is seeking an LPN to assist in patient care at our Urgent Care Center. The role focuses on coordinating patient flow and delivering safe, efficient nursing support under physician supervision.

Responsibilities include nursing care, documentation, medication administration, phlebotomy, IV certification, lab processing, and EKGs, with adherence to our Mission, Vision and Values. Shifts may include 8-, 10- and 12-hour options.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing.
• Basic working knowledge of commonly used computer applications.
• IV Certification within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assists in patient care and coordinates patient flow in the urgent care center.
• Provides direct and indirect nursing care to urgent care patients.
• Documents care, administers medications, and processes lab specimens and EKGs.
