Job summary

Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is seeking an LPN II for our Urgent Care Center. The LPN II will implement nursing care for assigned patients and assist the RN with assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patient care.

The role requires applying advanced skills in patient care after completing education and training. Applicants must graduate from an accredited practical nursing program, hold a 30-hour IV certification, and have basic computer literacy.

Required Qualifications

• Require graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing, or otherwise meet the educational requirements as outlined by the Florida Board of Nursing.
• Require thirty (30) hour IV certification.
• Require basic working knowledge of commonly used computer applications.

BLS: Basic Life Support/CPR
FL LPN: FL Licensed Practical Nurse

Preferred License And Certs

Our urgent care centers are open 7 days a week, 8am - 8pm. Evenings, weekends and holidays are required. Additionally, shifts can vary from 8 hour shifts to 10 and 12 hour shifts. Flexibility to work at all 7 of our urgent care locations is also required, however schedule location preferences will be taken into consideration.
