Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Health System in Stuart is seeking an LPN to join the Urgent Care team at the Stuart Family Health Center. The role involves providing patient-focused nursing care in a fast-paced urgent care setting with flexible 8:00am–8:00pm shifts.

You will support walk-in patients, administer medications, document care, and collaborate with RNs and physicians to deliver high-quality care. Prior nursing experience in urgent care is valued and ongoing education is offered within the Cleveland

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
• Florida LPN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Knowledge of infection control practices.
• Experience with technology.
• Computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients.
• Administer medication.
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation in medical records and files.
• Complete authorization forms and laboratory requisitions.
• Implement pain management assessments and documentation.
• Recognize changes in patients’ status and report pertinent information to Charge Nurse or Physicians.
• Educate patients, families and others.
• Adhere to the National Patient Safety Goals as outlined by JCAHO.
• Follow Code Blue protocol.
