Qualifications

• Current LPN licensure in Florida.
• American Heart Association BLS for Health Care Providers.
• Strong knowledge of urgent care principles.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Delivers patient care as identified by the Scope of Care of the Urgent Care Center.
• Demonstrates caring, compassion, and cultural awareness in all interactions.
• Provide quality care using the LPN process and critical thinking.
• Function under stress and in emergency situations.
• Promote effective communication between patients, staff, physicians and visitors.
• Perform surveillance exams including hearing tests, vision screening, spirometry and EKGs.
• Perform breath alcohol testing and urine drug screening.
• Proficient in vaccine administration and phlebotomy.
• Cross-train to support front desk responsibilities.
• Maintain accurate documentation and complete specimen collections as per policies.
