Job summary

Baptist Urgent Care in Horn Lake, MS is seeking dedicated LPNs to join our compassionate healthcare team. You will assist physicians, interview patients, take medical histories, give injections, complete lab and x-ray requests, and help manage patient charts and medication administration in a fast-paced clinic.

This is a full-time position with a rotating 36-40 hour week schedule, including 12-hour weekday shifts and every-other weekend; PRN opportunities are also available.

Qualifications

• A degree from an accredited school of nursing (LPN/RN).
• LPN or RN license valid for Arkansas or compact license.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and prepare them for examination or procedure.
• Assist physicians with treatment, examination, and testing.
• Give injections and administer prescribed medications as directed.
• Record medical history, vital signs, and chart updates.
• Schedule tests, coordinate referrals, and obtain pre-authorization when directed.
• Collect and document lab specimens and relay results.
