Job summary

A-Line Staffing Solutions is actively seeking an Urgent Care LPN for a 18-week contract in Sparta, NJ. This on-site clinic role involves patient-facing care, EMR documentation, and collaboration with the clinical team.

Responsibilities include triage, vital signs, medication administration, phlebotomy, immunizations, and point-of-care testing, with Epic experience preferred. You must hold an active LPN/LVN license and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted LPN/LVN license in the state where you’ll be working.
• BLS certification must remain valid through the start period.
• 1+ year clinical experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room settings.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and perform routine clinical evaluations.
• Monitor and document vital signs and responses to care.
• Administer oral, injectable, IV, and topical medications as appropriate.
• Perform/assist with phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and point-of-care testing.
• Document accurately in the EMR (Epic experience preferred).
• Educate patients on self-care and disease management; connect to resources.
• Maintain a clean, organized, well-stocked clinic environment.

• Perform/assist with phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and point-of-care testing
• Document accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) (Epic experience preferred)
• Educate patients on self-care and disease management; connect to appropriate resources
• Maintain a clean, organized, well-stocked clinic environment

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted LPN/LVN license in the state where you’ll be working
• BLS certification (must remain valid through the start period; expiration should be at least 30+ days past your intended start)
• 1+ year clinical experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room settings (Candidates with experience limited to long-term care-only environments may not be a fit for this setting.)
• Experience with phlebotomy, immunizations, and point-of-care testing
• High School Diploma or GED
• Comfortable working a clinic schedule including every other weekend and some major holidays
