Job summary

UK King’s Daughters in Grayson, KY seeks a Medical Assistant III for Urgent Care Float (PRN). You will provide daily care to high-acuity patients and support clinic operations as a lead MA, orienting and training new staff.

You'll work with a multidisciplinary team to improve clinical outcomes, maintain medical records, and ensure patient privacy while delivering service excellence in a fast-paced Urgent Care setting.

Qualifications

• Requires CMA, RMA, NCMA or CMA certification as applicable.
• Experience training or orienting new staff is preferred.
• Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality in all tasks.

Responsibilities

• Check in/out patients and manage scheduling of tests and procedures.
• Prepare charts, enter charges, and maintain medical records.
• Record vital signs and health history; perform basic patient care.
• Respond to patient calls and coordinate with clinical staff.
• Serve as a preceptor for new staff and support training.
