Job summary

Urgent Care Physicians of New Jersey LLC seeks a Family Nurse Practitioner to manage patient care in urgent care centers, including East Windsor and Hamilton, NJ. Prior urgent care or walk-in center experience is required, with opportunities for advancement and professional development.

You will perform exams, order tests, and manage treatment plans, while coordinating referrals and ensuring continuity of care. Travel to additional sites may be needed, with weekend shifts as required.

Qualifications

• Urgent care or walk-in center experience required.
• Must be licensed as RN in NJ and certified as FNP.
• CDS registration and DEA registration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and manage direct patient care, including physical examinations and counseling for treatment compliance.
• Order diagnostic tests (x-rays, ECGs, labs) and interpret results.
• Perform procedures (incision and drainage, splinting, suturing, wound care).
• Prescribe medications and treatment regimens.
• Develop and implement patient management plans and ensure continuity of care.
• Communicate results and follow-up information to patients.
• Willingness to travel to other sites as needed.
