Job summary

MainStreet Family Care in Shelby, NC is hiring a Family Nurse Practitioner for a full-time role in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

Ideal candidates are able to work at full scope, treating patients of all ages, from infants to geriatrics, with strong leadership capabilities and comfort with telemedicine and occupational medicine. Comprehensive benefits and a $5,000 sign-on bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification required.
• MSN or higher education required (New graduate friendly!).
• DOT certification or willing to become DOT certified (we cover the cost).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working in EMR and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat illnesses within the FNP scope.
• Perform minor procedures and suturing.
• Do splinting and general orthopedic evaluations.
• Review X-rays (over-read by Radiologist).
• Provide dermatology and eye care as needed.
• Engage in telemedicine and occupational medicine activities.
