Job summary

MainStreet Family Care in Gastonia, NC is seeking a full-time Family Nurse Practitioner to join our urgent care team. You will provide patient-focused care across ages, with on-site orientation and ongoing training support.

Qualifications

• FNP Board Certification required.
• MSN or higher degree; new grads welcome.
• DOT certification or willingness to obtain (employer covers cost).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with EMR and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat cold, flu, strep, COVID, and other URI issues.
• Minor procedures (toe nail removal, foreign body removal).
• Suturing and splinting.
• General Orthopedic evaluations/management.
• Review of x-rays with radiologist over-read.
• General Dermatology care and eye problem assessments.
• General EKG interpretations and emergency management.
• General GYN care.
• Treat children of all ages.
• Occupational medicine and telemedicine services.
