Job summary

ModernMD Urgent Care is seeking dedicated healthcare providers to join our urgent care team in a fast-paced setting. You will diagnose and treat a broad spectrum of illnesses and injuries, perform procedures, and collaborate with the care team to ensure excellent patient experiences.

The role requires current NP/PA/MD/DO licensure, board certification or eligibility, and an active DEA license. A minimum of 1 year in urgent care, emergency, or primary care is preferred, with flexibility to work

Qualifications

• Current licensure as NP, PA, or MD/DO with board certification/eligibility as applicable.
• Active DEA license and ability to prescribe medications.
• Minimum 1 year of urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive urgent care services, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic tests (X-rays, EKGs, point-of-care labs).
• Administer treatments and procedures such as suturing, splinting, wound care, and I&D.
• Document encounters in the EMR and maintain quality standards.
• Collaborate with the clinical team and Medical Director for coordinated care.
• Educate patients and families on diagnosis and follow-up plans.
