Tampa General Hospital and Fast Track Urgent Care are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to deliver professional clinical care under Providers' supervision. You'll support patients before, during and after visits with compassionate service and maintain accurate records in EPIC.

The role requires active CPR/BLS, CMA certification, and a focus on HIPAA compliance. On-site clinic with team-based care and ongoing training is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Active CPR/BLS certification required.
• Active Medical Assistant certification required.
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records preferred.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly, professional manner and assist with check-in.
• Verify patient demographics and applicable insurance benefits; maintain electronic records.
• Prepare, restock and sterilize examination rooms and labs per policy.
• Record vital signs, review medical history, and prepare patients for examinations.
• Assist Providers during treatment, procedures, and testing; perform phlebotomy where directed.
• Administer vaccines, immunizations and meds prescribed by the Provider; educate patients.
