Piedmont Healthcare is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our urgent care team in Harlem, GA. The role involves delivering comprehensive medical services, preventive care, and health maintenance under physician supervision. Qualified candidates will hold PA or NP credentials with state licensure and national certification.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP).
• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited PA program.
• National Board Certification.
• Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as an NP in Georgia with National Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical services to individuals, families and/or groups, including annual physicals, preventive care, wellness counseling, immunizations and health screenings.
• Emphasize health promotion as well as acute and chronic disease management.
• Augment a physician’s ability to provide medical services to patients.
• Collect and document data, conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, order and schedule laboratory studies and professional consultations and provide direct patient care services.
