Job summary

SSM Health Dean Medical Group is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for our Madison East Urgent Care on a part-time basis. The department operates 7am–7pm weekdays and 8am–4pm on weekends.

Candidates must hold an unrestricted Wisconsin PA license or Wisconsin RN with FNP/ACNP licensure and have at least 1 year of urgent care, emergency, or family medicine experience. Ideal candidates are comfortable treating both children and adults, proficient in laceration repair

Qualifications

• Unrestricted Wisconsin Physician Assistant License or Wisconsin RN and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) licensure.
• Minimum of one-year experience practicing as an Advanced Practitioner in Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, or Family Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat both children and adults with minor to complex medical problems.
• Provide laceration repair and acute fracture care (splinting).
• Part-time role requiring working 3 weekend shifts per month.
• Flexible scheduling in a fast-paced environment.
• Supportive teamwork with staff and no call rotation.
