Job summary

Society of Emergency Medicine PAs (SEMPA) is looking for an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for a PRN/Fill-In role in Urgent Care at East and West Clinics in Madison, WI. The position is as-needed, requiring skills in diagnosing and treating both children and adults with a range of medical issues.

Key responsibilities include performing laceration repairs and managing acute fractures. Ideal candidates will possess relevant experience in urgent care or family medicine.

Qualifications

• Must have experience as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) in urgent care.
• Ability to diagnose and treat both children and adults.
• Comfortable with laceration repair and acute fracture care.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat children and adults with minor to complex medical problems.
• Perform laceration repair and acute fracture care (splinting).

About the Role

SSM Health Dean Medical Group is actively recruiting an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for a PRN/Fill‑In role in our Urgent Care department at East and West Clinics in Madison. The position is on an as‑needed basis.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat children and adults with minor to complex medical problems.
• Perform laceration repair and acute fracture care (splinting).

Qualifications

• Experience as a PA or NP in urgent care, emergency medicine or family medicine.
• Comfortable diagnosing and treating children and adults.

Work Hours and Schedule

Department is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Compensation

Hourly rate and paid malpractice insurance.
