Job summary

Wilson Health in Sidney, OH seeks a Full Time Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) with Occupational Health experience for a float position covering several employee health clinics and Urgent Care facilities.

The APP will deliver acute and non-emergent care, conduct physical examinations, perform work injuries evaluations, manage chronic conditions, and educate patients and families while coordinating diagnostic testing and referrals as needed.

Qualifications

• Board Certification/Current State Licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Occupational Health or Urgent Care.
• BLS Required.
• DOT FMCSA Medical Examiner Certification Preferred or Willing to Obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide acute and non-emergent medical care to adults and children.
• Perform physical examinations and work-injury evaluations.
• Educate patients and families and coordinate diagnostic testing.

You demonstrate a high level of clinical expertise treating patients in need of acute, non-emergent care, including but not limited to physical examinations, chronic disease management, various acute infections, work-injury evaluation and treatment, splinting, fracture care, communication/education for patients and families and appropriate use of diagnostic testing.
