Job summary

Cottage Health seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (PA or NP) to join the Cottage Urgent Care in Santa Barbara. You will deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced urgent care setting under guidance from an APP lead.

Qualified applicants will hold CA PA/NP licensure with BLS and have experience in urgent care or emergency settings. This on-site role emphasizes collaboration and excellent patient communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with CA license and BLS.
• PA/NP education requirements per CA Board and respective certs.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient examinations and initial assessments in urgent care.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and manage minor acute illness.
• Prescribe medications and treatment plans as appropriate.
• Provide patient education and coordinate care across services.
• Mentor staff and supervise ancillary personnel as needed.
