Job summary

Tech Mirrors is seeking an experienced IoT Developer for a hybrid role in Plano, TX. You will design and implement end-to-end IoT solutions spanning devices, gateways, connectivity and cloud services, with emphasis on real-time configurations and edge-to-cloud integration.

The role requires 8–10 years of experience, including 4+ years in IoT, Industry 4.0, and multi-cloud environments, plus solid development in C#/Java. Linux-based systems and DevOps practices are essential.

Qualifications

• Engineer in ComputerScience or IT.
• 8–10 years overall experience delivering projects on the cloud and edge with Industry 4.0 experience, with at least 4 years in IoT and service-oriented architectures.
• 5+ years of .NET/C/Javadevelopment.
• Real-time implementation of driver configuration and integration.

Responsibilities

• Envision and develop end-to-end IoT solution architecture spanning devices, gateways, connectivity, cloud, applications, integration, analytics and security layers.
• Lead development teams, drive best practices in DevOps and architecture for IoT edge-cloud solutions.

Expertise in Cloudcomputing, with implementationexperience in Azure(mandatory), AWS, orPTC ThingWorx, orany other IoTcloud, along withnetwork technology protocols, including MQTT, REST, AMQP, HTTPS, WebSocket, Modbus, OAM-DM, OPC/UA, Zigbee, LoRa, BLE, andNB-IoT.
Implementation knowledgeof Edge HA, Business Continuity, andDisaster Recovery.
Edge and Cloudtechnology competencies(e.g., Docker, multi-tenancy, RESTAPI, web protocols, HTML5, demonstrated programmingdepth in Python, C#/Java, Kubernetes, and Grafana).
Knowledge of end-to-end securityfor IoT spanningedge layer security, application, transport, network, cloud, andinfrastructure securitycontrols, including dataprivacy and protection controls.
Knowledge and awarenessof IoT gatewayproducts, agents, sensors, and devices.
Establish best practicesin architecture, design, and development, withcommand over DevOpsprocesses and tools. Guide and mentordevelopment teams indriving best practices.
