This position is located at 6640 Echo Ave, Reno, Nevada, 89506, United States.

Role Summary

The equipment operator will help fulfill orders in the warehouse by utilizing warehousing equipment such as forklifts and order pickers. This position involves working in a warehouse facility, specializing in large furniture shipped across North America. The role covers one of two shifts in a 7-day-per-week operation.

Ideal candidates should be motivated team players with a positive attitude, good organizational and communication skills. They should be capable of multitasking, paying attention to detail, and accepting diverse assignments. Candidates must be able to work with all organizational levels, including employees, customers, and management.

Role Responsibilities

• Operate a scanner to track product locations within the building.
• Operate warehousing equipment such as forklifts and order pickers.
• Operate safely within a warehouse environment.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Follow work instructions and complete follow-up tasks.

Role Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED is a plus.
• Experience in warehousing or manufacturing is a plus.
• Experience with forklifts or heavy machinery is a plus.
• Ability to operate department-specific technology such as RF scanners or computers.
• Must maintain acceptable attendance and be able to work overtime as required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Ability to climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Ability to reach, pull, push, and lift freight up to 50 pounds.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely, requiring coordinated movements.
