Job summary

URBN is seeking a Network Operations Support Analyst to join our global team, responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and servicing users, infrastructure and applications across offices, distribution centers, retail stores, and restaurants. The role emphasizes a 10-hour shift (4 days) from 7:00 to 17:30 with Sunday to Wednesday schedule and full-time hourly employment.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Windows/macOS, basic networking, and experience with enterprise switching

Qualifications

• Basic networking and troubleshooting including wireless.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Willingness to learn new technologies.
• Experience with Juniper EX switching is a plus.
• Experience with Cisco switching is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and escalate network alerts globally.
• Manage Active Directory users and groups.
• Administer Cisco and Juniper switch configurations.
• Assist in store broadband and wireless troubleshooting.
• Assist in store broadband circuit installations and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with Technical Services and Operations on 24x7 support.

Job description

URBN is seeking a Network Operations Support Analyst. We are looking for a driven, self-motivated candidate that will join the network operations team in managing, monitoring and servicing the users, infrastructure and applications that keep a large-scale global retail business powered. The successful candidate will work closely with the Technical Services and Operations teams in delivering 24x7 support across business offices, distribution/fulfillment centers, retail stores and restaurants globally.

Role Responsibilities

• Monitoring, troubleshooting, and escalating alerts in managing our network infrastructure globally.
• Monitoring, troubleshooting, and escalating alerts in key applications and backend processing.
• System administration, creating users and managing groups in Active Directory.
• Network administration, managing switch port configuration changes on Cisco and Juniper switches.
• Assist in store broadband, network and wireless troubleshooting in retail locations.
• Assist in store broadband circuit installations and troubleshooting in retail locations.
• Support other department projects and initiatives as assigned.
• Job Type: Full-time hourly
  • 10-hour shift (4 days) 7a - 5:30p
  • Sunday to Wednesday (days)

Role Qualifications

• Working Knowledge & understanding of Windows or MacOS
• Basic networking/troubleshooting knowledge including wireless networking
• Good communication skills and willingness to actively participate in peer communications.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and methodologies.
• Experience with Juniper EX switching is a plus.
• Experience with Cisco switching is a plus.
