Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• Minimum of two years teaching experience in an urban public school or charter setting preferred.
• Commitment to Excel Academy's mission and equity in education.

• Willingness to engage in antiracist education and ongoing feedback.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a year-long Teaching Fellowship to develop Classroom Culture and Management.
• Observe classrooms, receive coaching, and practice core instructional moves across settings.
• Engage in bi-weekly professional development and apply learnings directly to practice.
• Prepare for lead teaching roles; possible interview guarantee and salary upgrade during coverage.
