Uncommon Schools in New York is seeking a Special Education Coordinator who advocates for students with disabilities, coordinating all SPED program aspects and providing essential academic, emotional, and social support to learners with disabilities.

You will partner with general education teachers and families to ensure IEP compliance, deliver differentiated instruction, and leverage data to improve outcomes while upholding city, state, and federal requirements.

Formación

• Commitment to supporting students’ social emotional and academic development.
• Experience collaborating with internal and external partners for student success.
• Certification in Special Education is required.

Responsabilidades

• Review intake assessments and align services with IEPs.
• Coordinate pull-out, push-in, small group, and one-on-one instruction.
• Schedule and facilitate IEP and pre-referral meetings.
