Job summary

Dempsey Uniform & Linen Supply in Clifton, NJ is seeking a Route Service Driver to deliver uniforms, linens, and facility supplies to NYC-area customers, starting and ending each day at our Clifton location.

You will operate a box truck on daily routes, load and unload items weighing 50–75 lbs, and provide reliable service while maintaining safety and professional customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Experience operating box trucks in New York City preferred.
• Must reside in New Jersey within commuting distance to Clifton.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL not required).

Responsibilities

• Operate a company box truck from Clifton, NJ into New York City to complete scheduled daily service routes.
• Deliver, collect, and accurately manage uniforms, linens, and facility service products at customer locations.
• Provide outstanding customer service and professionally represent Dempsey during every customer interaction.
• Perform the physical requirements of the role, including frequent lifting, carrying, loading, and unloading of products weighing 50–75 lbs.
• Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards while ensuring the truck remains clean, safe, and well-maintained.
